About the course

The Law and Society certificate allows students who have an academic or pre-professional interest in legal education, socio-legal studies, criminology, and law enforcement to explore legal phenomena from different disciplinary perspectives. Instructors are drawn from political science, American studies, anthropology, business, communications, economics, ethnic studies, Hawaiian studies, history, law, philosophy, sociology, and women's studies. The certificate program is designed to provide a multidisciplinary framework to enhance studies of law within cultural and social science perspectives. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Hawaii - Manoa

To be considered for admission, you must have completed or are in the process of completing secondary school with a cumulative or overall grade point average (GPA) equivalent of B or higher. Focus will also be on the grades/marks you have received for Mathematics and Science courses. TOEFL (iBT) - 100, TOEFL (PBT) - 600, IELTS (Academic Section) - 7.0.
