About the course

The new Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation (EBI) Certificate is a distinctive program MITT has developed in partnership with the Manitoba Tourism Education College (MTEC). MTEC delivers 10 months of occupational-specific, career development and technical courses in a classroom location in MTEC’s facility (Unit 3 – 75 Scurfield Blvd). Upon successful completion, students will receive the MITT credential. At the end of the program, MTEC will connect students with their numerous employer contacts for an unpaid work practicum. How to apply

Entry requirements for Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology

High school diploma (or expected completion within 45 days of the program start date) or equivalent. International applicants must meet the general entrance requirements based on the country/curriculum of study. Applicants must also meet the program-specific requirements, including:

　　Senior Level First Language Literature with a grade of 50 per cent or higher, or equivalent.

　　All high school grades will be converted to an equivalent Manitoba grade scale.

　　IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 overall, no band less than 5.5

　　TOEFL iBT - Overall score of 78, with no less than 17 in each component, PTE Academic - 54
