About the course
A six-month work-placement period forms an integral part of the course and will give you the opportunity to work in industry, thus gaining real-world experience and acquiring key transferable skills in communication, management, and organisation. This degree programme will provide you with a unique blend of scientific and technical skills, workplace experience and food innovation skills. How to apply
Entry requirements for University College Cork
School Leaving Examination Certificate or High School Transcript. Include forecast results if final results are not available. For 2019 entry, full-time degree students must normally have reached 17 years of age by 15th January 2020. Where a candidate below that age seeks to enter UCC, a special application must be made to the President of the University.
