About the course

The BS in Sustainability and Innovation offers a unique multidisciplinary perspective on current-day social and environmental challenges and provides students with the tools needed to create responsive, market-based solutions. This degree embeds the Charles D. School?s unique approach to teaching entrepreneurship as a habit of mind within the framework of environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic sustainability. Graduates of this degree will be prepared to innovate in a variety of contexts including established companies, new or growing ventures, social enterprises, educational institutions, and other nonprofits.

　　Sustainability is the simultaneous pursuit of human flourishing, environmental quality, and economic well-being for current and future generations. In accordance with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, this degree challenges students to recognize the complex nature of solving problems at the intersection of civil society, the marketplace, and the natural environment. This degree includes courses in the arts, sciences, and business, to provide a deeper understanding of the fields in which you will innovate and requires you to pursue a minor outside of the Charles D. How to apply

Entry requirements for Drexel University

A transcript is official only when it is sent directly from an institution to the Office of Admissions, or when it is officially signed, stamped in color, and sealed.

　　Use your legal name on all documents (should match the name listed on your passport).

　　All students who attended any portion of secondary school outside of the U.S. are required to submit an official academic record (with notarized English translation) from every secondary or postsecondary school attended. Transcripts must reflect 9th, 10th, and 11th grade coursework and grades earned, as well as any 12th grade coursework in progress. Please refer to our Transcript Requirements for International First-Year Applicants as a guideline, or email [email protected] if your country is not listed.

　　International first-year applicants whose first (or native) language is not English must take the TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test (DET), PTE, or Cambridge English Exam and request that official results are forwarded to the Office of Admissions. Drexel's TOEFL school code is 2194.

　　For applicants from Mainland China: The TOEFL ITP Plus for China is accepted in all cases where the TOEFL iBT is accepted.

　　Exemptions from an English proficiency exam may occur for the following reasons:

　　Your first (or native) language is English.

　　You have studied at a high school for a minimum of three complete years where English is the primary language of instruction. We strongly recommend that students who choose this exemption still submit the TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE exams to demonstrate English language proficiency.

　　You have received a minimum score of 600 on the SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section or a minimum score of 27 on the ACT English section.
