An Integrated Mathematics license prepares students to teach all math subject areas in grades 7-12 in Ohio schools, including Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and?with appropriate training?AP Calculus. Students who pursue an integrated mathematics license take the equivalent of a math major as well as coursework to learn about adolescent psychology and development, instructional technology, and mathematics teaching practices. Students are prepared to teach math in a way that promotes conceptual understanding in addition to procedural skills.
