About the course

The Bachelor of Science degree in quantitative risk analytics provides students with the quantitative skills necessary for employment in the insurance and risk industries, broadly construed to include a mathematical treatment of probability and statistics, interest-rate theory and financial mathematics. Students will also become knowledgeable about stochastic theory of investment finance, predictive analytics and other data science tools for analyzing risk. Requirements for the major and study of quantitative risk analytics include courses in writing, chemistry, physics, calculus, financial management, insurance operations and more. Graduates who studied quantitative risk analysis excel in careers that require quantitative skills such as the ability to work with mathematical treatment of probability and statistics, financial mathematics, predictive analytics and more.
