About the course

The B.S. in physics degree is designed to meet your desire for a strong foundation in experimental and theoretical physics along with a solid background in mathematics. It will also enable you to pursue graduate school in physics or a related field, such as engineering, or directly enter the workforce and a career in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related field. Our alumni have gone on to become associate corporate counsel at MeadWestvaco, manager at Lockheed Martin, research leaders at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, a physics teacher at the Dayton Regional STEM School, a teacher at Ann Arbor, Michigan, Public Schools, and university professors at the University of Utah and the University of Dayton, just to name a few. Others have gone on to earn their Ph.D. and work at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, become surgeons or consultants, work in industry, and more. How to apply

Entry requirements for Wright State University

TOEFL- 61, IELTS - 5.5 with no subscore lower than 5.0, TOEFL pBT 160. Graduation from a US Senior High School.An international student must have earned a certificate of completion of secondary education that would enable the student to be admitted to a university in his or her home country. Students should have studied mathematics and science subjects at the secondary level. Must have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
