About the course
The B.S. in physics degree is designed to meet your desire for a strong foundation in experimental and theoretical physics along with a solid background in mathematics. It will also enable you to pursue graduate school in physics or a related field, such as engineering, or directly enter the workforce and a career in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related field. Our alumni have gone on to become associate corporate counsel at MeadWestvaco, manager at Lockheed Martin, research leaders at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, a physics teacher at the Dayton Regional STEM School, a teacher at Ann Arbor, Michigan, Public Schools, and university professors at the University of Utah and the University of Dayton, just to name a few. Entry requirements for Wright State University
TOEFL- 61, IELTS - 5.5 with no subscore lower than 5.0, TOEFL pBT 160. Graduation from a US Senior High School.An international student must have earned a certificate of completion of secondary education that would enable the student to be admitted to a university in his or her home country. Students should have studied mathematics and science subjects at the secondary level. Must have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
