In RIT's marketing degree, you will gain a solid understanding of the business activities that fall under the marketing umbrella. These include learning how to identify and select target markets, the development, placement, and promotion of goods and services, the management of relationships among organizations and their customers, and analyzing the successfulness of marketing campaigns and activities.
You'll study business-consumer relationships from multiple angles as you learn about the power and influence of internet marketing, social media, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and data analytics on consumer awareness and behavior. Course work also covers professional selling and international marketing. You'll also gain practical experience creating strategic marketing plans.
