About the course
The LIN program teaches our students skills and concepts to find, organize, analyze, and manage information. The program develops responsible information consumers, disseminators, and creators who can effectively navigate the ever growing and increasingly complex information landscape. The curriculum includes courses on searching interfaces, information storage and retrieval, ethics, trends in information science, and information literacy. By completing a bachelor?s degree in library informatics a student will be prepared to work in the expanding career fields of information evaluation and management. Professional positions are available in a wide variety of settings: libraries, corporate information centers, research divisions, government agencies, public service institutions, and more. Entry requirements for Northern Kentucky University
