About the course

The general science program includes solid course work in biology, chemistry and calculus (with the option to take physics), which keeps students on track with courses needed no matter which degree program they choose later. It also lets the student learn about their strengths and interests whether it is mathematics, chemistry, marine biology, premed studies, or astronomy and astrophysics.
