About the course
Students pursuing interior design at Ohio State learn how human needs and environmental conditions impact potential spatial design opportunities. They apply a sophisticated level of design thinking and design research approaches to the planning and development of public and private interior environments of all scales, placing emphasis on commercial, workplace, hospitality, educational and health care spaces. Students learn and practice collaboration, sustainable design strategies and research-based design approaches through design studio and courses in technical and theoretical knowledge.
