About the course

The College of Arts and Sciences Pre-Professional Exploratory program is designed for students who are deciding among one or more pre-health majors in the College. It allows students to explore major options as well as make progress toward graduation through the completion of general education courses. Exploratory students are required to meet with their advisor every semester.All full-time, degree-seeking UT Knoxville students who first entered Fall 2013 or later must transition out of the exploratory track into a major no later than the end of their fourth tracking semester. Transfer students with less than 45 hours of transferrable work who are admitted as exploratory students must transition out of the exploratory track into a major no later than the end of their second full semester at UT. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Tennessee

Official transcript(s) required. If you have completed any high school academic work outside the United States, we will calculate an academic core grade point average based on years 9, 10, 11, and any part of year 12 that you have completed. Your submitted transcript of academic work must also have a certified literal translation into English for any documents submitted in other languages. Receiving a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 523 on the paper-based test or 70 on the Internet-based (iBT). Receiving an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minimum score of 6.5.
