About the course

The Department of Animal Sciences combines an excellence in teaching with cutting-edge research to provide our students with a comprehensive degree which will aid them no matter their future. We provide a premier, well-rounded education for our undergraduate students. As educators, we strive to provide our students with hands-on experiences both in and out of the classroom. Our students encouraged to extend their learning and career networks beyond the classroom through off-campus internships, undergraduate research projects with our faculty, and short- and long-term study abroad opportunities all over the world.The science and pre-veterinary medical concentration is specifically designed for students interested in graduate school, professional training, or technical positions after the undergraduate degree. It is intended to satisfy most entrance requirements to post-graduate programs and emphasizes basic science courses.
