About the course

Develop your practical-experimental, creative-thinking, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills to help solve some of the world’s most complex problems, with a degree in science. Focus on a field of science which interests you – from Games Technology to Biomedical Science, Marine Biology, Forensic Biology & Toxicology, Animal Health, Conservation & Wildlife Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Nanotechnology, Genetics & Molecular Biology, Sport & Health Science and more. You can take your learning outside the classroom with opportunities to travel overseas or complete internships or get involved in industry or community projects as part of your studies. For example, if you study Marine Biology, you’ll take part in field camps, field trips and projects along our iconic Western Australian coastline.

For example, if you study Games Technology, you’ll learn to apply scientific thinking to develop games, apps and artificial intelligence. How to apply

Entry requirements for Murdoch University

Completion of a Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in the same discipline or cognate area with a Credit average (GPA 2), subject to availability of a suitable supervisor and approval by the School Dean.

　　Students interested in enrolling in Honours are advised to contact the Academic Chair before application to discuss supervision of their potential research project.

　　Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 6.0

　　Test of English as a Foreign Language - IBT (TOEFL IBT) - 73 with no band less than 18
