About the course

Provides students with an introduction to this profession and equips them with the knowledge and skills to function effectively in the health and safety industry. Students undertaking this major as part of the Bachelor of Health Science should select a second major in Health Promotion, Addiction Studies or Nutrition.

  Apply discipline knowledge to a range of theoretical and practical occupational health and Safety (OHS)/ workplace health and safety (WHS) situations.

  Think critically to analyse, interpret and conceptualise complex OHS and WHS problems.

  Use digital technologies and literacies to access, evaluate and synthesise relevant information from multiple sources.
