About the course

Become a diagnostic radiographer / medical imaging technologist and produce images of the structure of the body to assist medical diagnosis, guide treatment and help with medical decision-making. you'll use a large range of imaging technologies including general X-rays, CT, angiography and mammography in various clinical settings. Further study and training will prepare you for a career in ultrasound or MRI.

Entry requirements for Charles Sturt University

Minimum Selection Rank required for consideration: 65.00

  Completed High School Certificate with an ATAR of 65 (including adjustment factors) or equivalent.

  OR

  Successful completion of two university level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.

  OR

  A completed AQF Certificate III or higher level qualification.

  OR

  50% completion of an AQF Diploma level qualification.

  OR

  A completed Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.

  AND

  English Language Proficiency. An Academic IELTS of 6.5 with no score below a 6.0 in each of the individual skill areas or a qualification deemed equivalent.
