You can also choose to study a minor in Information Technology.

  biostatistician: using or applying mathematics and statistics to various categories in biology, designing biological experiments primarily in the field of agriculture and medicine, collecting, dissecting, and summarising data and releasing information based on the findings of that data

  big data researcher: extracting data from relational databases, manipulating and exploring data using quantitative, statistical and visualisation tools, selecting appropriate modelling techniques so predictive models are developed using rigorous statistical processes

  business data analyst: working with stakeholders, analysts and senior management to understand business strategy and the questions that need to be asked, identifying research needs, designing experiments and making recommendations based on results, driving complex analytics projects to support the business

Entry requirements for University of South Australia

Recent secondary education : Meet any prerequisite requirements with a minimum grade of C- or equivalent AND Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), and achieved a competitive Selection Rank (ATAR), or Complete secondary qualifications equivalent to SACE, or Complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24 points.

  Higher education study : Complete or partly complete a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Complete at least four Open Universities Australia (OUA) courses at undergraduate level or above.

  Vocational Education and Training (VET): Complete an award from a registered training organisation at Diploma level or above.

  IELTS total [6.0], IELTS reading [6.0], IELTS writing [6.0]. TOEFL PBT - 550 with TWE of 4.5.TOEFL IBT - 60 with Reading and Writing not less than 18.
