About the course

The humanities concentration is designed for students who want to combine a variety of humanities courses into a cohesive degree. The Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) degree is designed for mature students seeking a broad-based education as a part-time or full-time student with a direct route to graduation. Students are able to shape their degree plan around their interests, career goals and previous work/academic background. There are many reasons why students choose the BLS degree. The BLS general core consists of courses that develop academic, critical thinking and public speaking skills. The general curriculum provides students the opportunity to go beyond the scope of their chosen concentration and complete course work in various disciplines to reflect a true liberal arts experience. Entry requirements for University of Tampa

Official transcripts of all secondary school coursework and grades translated in English (“Official” means that you must request your school to send transcripts directly to the UT admissions office. If that is impossible, send copies that have been certified by your school as “true copies” of the originals after they are copied. An official at your school should sign the document as “true copy of original.”). TOEFL: minimum acceptable score is 550 or 213 (computer based) or 79 (Internet based) exam.
