About the course

Our BFA in Art Education embraces the artist-teacher concept, providing you with both a broad and focused studio background taught alongside professional education classes. We utilize the Professional Development School (PDS) model and our students are required to meet specific standards through the Center for Educator Preparation, ensuring that your education will be comprehensive and rigorous. The Art Education program enjoys good working relationships with school districts in the state of Colorado, providing you with a network to advance your career in art education. Like all of our concentrations, your coursework will be supported by our Foundations Program, giving you a visual language, a critical eye, and the technical skills to find your voice and guide others to do the same. How to apply

Entry requirements for Colorado State University - INTO USA

High school diploma, minimum GPA 3.0

　　Submit only your most recent high school transcript. We’ll ask for additional transcripts if necessary.

　　An official college transcript reflecting courses completed during high school is not required for the admission decision unless you’ve used full-time college enrollment as your high school curriculum (such as early college enrollment or a community college for homeschooling).

　　All decisions are provisional until a final, official transcript verifying graduation is received.

　　A personal statement is required from all freshman applicants.
