About the course
A statistics major prepares students for careers in the modern, data-driven world. The program provides a solid background in mathematics and programming and builds upon this background with course work in probability, statistics, computational methods for data science and application of statistics and probability. A Bachelor of Arts degree in statistics requires a higher level of competency in arts and humanities, while the Bachelor of Science degree in statistics requires greater science proficiency.
