About the course

The Bachelor of Arts degree is designed to appeal to qualified students who possess a background in music and who wish to continue in-depth study of the art form, but who may not have professional aspirations in music. This major incorporates many of the same lower division courses as the professional BM program, but ultimately has fewer units required in music. Entry requirements for San Diego State University

Completion of high school/secondary level. A certified copy of graduation certificate or diploma will be required prior to enrollment at SDSU.A minimum U.S. equivalent GPA (grade point average) of 3.0 (B grade or 80 percent) or higher.Higher Level International Baccalaureate (IB) exam: Score of 4 to 7.ACT English section: Score of 22 or higher.SAT Evidence Based Reading and Writing score of 550.
