The Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, while not recommended for those who want to pursue graduate study in mathematics or a ly-related field, provides a solid foundation for many careers and for admission to professional schools. Although the BA requires fewer courses than the Bachelor of Science program, some students find this option more conducive to double major, pursue multiple minors or study abroad.

How to apply

Entry requirements for George Washington University

GW requires applicants to have a minimum score of 90 on the TOEFL, a 6.5 on the IELTS

　　Submit a SAT critical reasoning score of 650 or higher

　　Submit a SAT evidence-based reading and writing of 650 or higher

　　Submit an ACT English score of 29 or higher

　　Applicants must submit official transcript copies representative of their entire secondary school career. We consider secondary school to be four years of academic study including the current year in progress.
