About the course

The BA major in Liberal Arts was designed for students who wish to pursue studies in several areas rather than concentrate in one discipline. It offers more options than the traditional major for students with diverse interests. The student chooses three areas of concentration from the departments and programs in the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The areas of concentration may be chosen from the same or from different divisions. At Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (HCLAS), you can explore and discover new talents while preparing for a wide range of career options. You will learn lasting skills that are valued in every field and be inspired in small classes taught by exceptional faculty.
