About the course
Indigenous Studies partners with Indigenous and other communities and individuals to build dynamic relationships that restore and revitalize traditional knowledges, ancient and modern aesthetics, languages, and literatures. As a community of learners, we connect and honour academic rigor and Indigenous perspectives through activist research, creative production, and community engagement.

Entry requirements for Simon Fraser University
Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. (An admission average is calculated on final year results. You must successfully complete the full IB Diploma, including at least 3 HL courses. You can meet program requirements for admission at either the Higher or Standard Level. Predicted bonus points are not used in the admission evaluation. International English Language Testing System (IELTS - Academic or IELTS Indicator) with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0. Test of English as a Foreign Language internet based test (TOEFL iBT) with an overall score of 88 or better with a minimum score of 20 in each of the four components (listening, speaking, writing, reading)
