About the course

Environmental studies delve into some of the most significant issues of our day, such as anthropogenic climate change, urban pollution and possible threats to human health. You learn how to use applied research tools and management principles that can be applied in a variety of areas, such as conducting environmental impact assessments and resource management.

　　This program will guide you in the study of current environmental issues, such as climate change, biodiversity, and pollution. Your professors, who share your passion for these topics, will help you explore the history and multidimensional solutions to these issues as they relate to health, the economy, politics, and natural, social, and cultural ecosystems. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Ottawa

Before submitting an application, you must meet or intend to meet all of the admission requirements, namely, have a secondary school diploma (or the equivalent if you’ve studied outside Canada), attain the minimum average, meet the language requirements and take all the prerequisite courses for the program.

　　INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB) - You must complete the diploma with six subjects, including the program prerequisites, with a minimum score of 29 to 37 points (depending on the program), including at least three Higher Level courses.
