About the course

In this program, you will earn your degree from the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences and learn how decisions made by consumers, firms and governments about the use of resources ? like time and money ? affect people and businesses. You will study economic factors like supply and demand, inflation, international trade, unemployment and governmental policies. As an economics major, you will develop strong critical thinking, analytical and research skills. You will also build a solid foundation of knowledge of economic systems and regulation. You will be prepared for a variety of careers, spanning government administration, politics, business and economic research. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Idaho

Undergraduate applicants who have no previous work at the post-secondary level must have at least a 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) from a secondary school.

　　Official secondary school transcripts showing subjects, marks received and graduation date. If you have not yet graduated from secondary school, a transcript showing all completed work may be accepted for early admission.

　　TOEFL iBT - 70, TOEFL PBT - 525, IELTS - 6.0

　　SAT critical reading minimum score of 500 (SAT Taken Prior to March 2016)
