About the course
Economics prepares students for careers in business, government, law, and education. CSULB economics majors graduate with a valued skillset, are better prepared for graduate school, have flexibility in career opportunities, and more likely to receive higher salaries than business and accounting degrees. The bachelor of arts degree with a major in economics prepares students for a variety of careers in business and government. The degree also provides the foundation for teaching in elementary and secondary schools and for more advanced study in economics, business, law, and other related fields.
