About the course
The combined Childhood and Special Education program, resulting in a BA/ MSEd degree at the end of five years, prepares candidates to work with and inspire children in grades 1–6 with diverse learning needs. Consistent with the School of Education’s conceptual framework, candidates will gain strong theoretical and practical experience working with students in inclusive settings supported and mentored by experienced and certified teachers. With classrooms becoming increasingly diverse in terms of learning needs, candidates will graduate from this program equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to engage and motivate all learners.
