About the course

Our Bachelor of Arts in Dance offers students an exceptional program in the technique and theory of dance. The Dance Major is a comprehensive major, 60 credits total, so no other major or minor is needed. As a dance major, prepare not only to develop your technical skills but also to explore your art?s history, theory, and science. Get ready for a tough schedule of technique and choreography classes, long evenings in rehearsal, and academic classes. Dance majors challenge their bodies and their minds in this demanding art form. You will develop abilities in critical and creative thinking, oral and written communication, research, abstract reasoning, and interpretative skills, in addition to rigorous practical and theoretical training in dance.
