With this approach, our graduates? career opportunities are less limited and the prospects for professional advancement are enhanced. The Program offers a Bachelor?s of Arts degree, a criminal justice minor and a criminalistics minor. Also available in an online version. The major consists of a 24-credit-hour core and 24 credit hours of additional requirements. Core courses provide a conceptual understanding of criminal justice institutions and processes, theories of crime and punishment, ethics, and social science research methods.
