The concentration in applied leadership focuses on the practice of innovative and effective leadership and helps students develop the skills and knowledge that leaders need to solve problems, communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, assess program effectiveness, lead projects and manage resources. It provides a valuable degree pathway for students with AAS degrees in fields such as fire science, environmental technology, machine shop technology and welding technology.
