About the course

This pathway meets requirements for the Associate of Arts Direct-Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) with a concentration in Art History. Completion of this pathway provides a visual and historical analysis of objects made throughout time. In lectures, discussions, and online content, students discover the broader context that surround works of art, design, and architecture, providing an understanding of why these objects were made, what they represent, and how they can us stories of humanity. Courses in Art History prepare students for transferring into an Art History major and satisfy Art History requirements for students entering into a Studio Art major. How to apply

Entry requirements for North Seattle College

To apply for admission to Seattle Colleges, international students must submit an online application, which includes completing a questionnaire, uploading all necessary documents. Depending on your applicant type, you may need to provide different documents and/or information with your application. You must also send all required documents by the deadline and be at least 16 years old by the first day of classes. Documents will be uploaded with the online application.Students who will still be underage (16 or 17) by the start of classes must provide a copy of their high school transcripts or a copy of their high school diploma.Proof of English proficiency is not required for admission to Seattle Colleges. However, if you want to skip the English placement test, you can provide proof of English proficiency in advance.
