About the course
The Certificate of Advanced Study in Archives and Records Management is an 18-credit program offered as part of the MSLIS or as a separate post-Master’s certificate. Because all types of institutions create and maintain records, there are career opportunities for both archivists and records managers in a variety of settings, including corporations, government agencies, libraries of all types, museums, historical societies, and non-profit organizations and associations. The Certificate program covers content areas included in certification examinations administered by the Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA) and the Institute of Certified Management (ICRM).
