How to apply
Entry requirements for University of York
All Official Transcripts. Applicants are expected to have a good honours degree or a master's degree (MA, MSc or MEd) in a relevant discipline (eg TESOL, Applied Linguistics, ELT, or Education) although candidates with other evidence of ability to succeed at PhD level will also be considered. IELTS: 7.0, with no less than 6.0 in Listening and Speaking and no less than 6.5 in Reading and Writing. TOEFL IBT : 96, with a minimum of 21 in Listening and Speaking and a no less than 23 in Reading and Writing
